An error in the program registry may cause problems using certain features in the upgrade version of AutoCAD LT® 2002.

Description of Problem

On some operating systems (see below), installing an upgrade version of AutoCAD LT 2002 into the same folder as AutoCAD LT 2000i may cause program termination or other problems when you use DesignCenterTM, Properties window, Quick Select, or multiline text.

Affected Products

This problem occurs for AutoCAD LT 2002 customers who have upgraded from AutoCAD LT 2000i under the following conditions:

ㅇOperating system is Windows® 2000 or Windows NT® 4.0, and
ㅇAutoCAD LT 2002 is installed into the same folder as AutoCAD LT 2000i.

Installation

To correct this problem, follow these instructions.

To update the settings in the program registry

1) Download the lt2002fix.reg file to a temporary location on your computer.

2) Close AutoCAD LT.

3) Double-click lt2002fix.reg. If prompted, choose Yes to complete the operation.
A message box indicates that the new information has been successfully entered into the registry.

4) Restart AutoCAD LT 2002.
